How much fees and taxes can I expect to pay?
Unfortunately the phone industry is ripe with ridiculous amount of miscellaneous amount of fees. This holds true for mobile carriers, traditional carriers and VoIP carriers. We have seen fees and taxes as high as $15 per user per month.
- 911 fees : $5.00 per user per month. If you only use the desktop application or mobile application you are not subject to this fee. Only if you are using a desk-phone. However you can activate 911 if you want to for desktop application.
- Regulatory and recovery fee: This varies greatly depending on the type of plan, package, area you're on but the fee can range anywhere between $3.00 per user per month.
