There are two options/types of 10DLC registry. Both options will require associating campaign IDs with phone numbers (TNs). Both registries depend on carrier views. Certain carriers are more focused on the brand, certain carriers are more focused on the campaign.

Brand Registry

  • In various contexts, a brand registry typically refers to a system or platform where businesses or entities can register and manage their brands. This could include information such as trademarks, intellectual property, and other brand-related details.
  • In the context of messaging services, a brand registry might be a platform where businesses register their brands to establish trust and legitimacy in communication. This could help in preventing unauthorized or fraudulent use of brand names in messaging.

Campaign Registry

  • A campaign registry, in the context of messaging services like 10DLC, could refer to a system where businesses register specific messaging campaigns. This registration process may involve providing details about the nature of the campaign, the sender's identity, and other relevant information.
  • The purpose of a campaign registry could be to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with regulations in the use of A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging. It helps carriers and authorities identify legitimate messaging campaigns and prevent misuse.
